The upcoming feature will allow you to quickly send files to your own devices nearby. It`s not live yet in any Chrome OS build, so it`ll be a while before the feature rolls out to consumers. When Google introduced Nearby Share to Chrome OS last year, it finally improved cross-device synergy between Chromebooks and Android phones, making it easier to share files across a wider range of devices including smartphones, laptops, and tablets.
